The Cook Step Challenge is designed to help improve health and well-being by creating an environment that supports a physically active lifestyle and a healthy diet.
A series of 3 ‘Food and Nutrition workshops’ will be delivered by a Dietician . These will include sessions covering healthy options for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Participants will be able to sample the meals at each workshop. Everyone will be encouraged to try the meals at home and share the end product via social media - facebook / whatsapp etc. The meals the Dietician will cook will be made from ingredients that are affordable and accessible.
Physical activity will be delivered via a ‘Step Challenge’ within each community.
